| Note: | Brucellosis is no longer endemic in New Zealand (last isolated from cattle in 1988). Positivity may result from cross reactivity with other bacteria e.g. Yersinia. Testing will only be performed on receipt of relevant clinical details including overseas travel history (specimen will be held for 1 month). |
